Nutrilia: the new Sacco System line of products and services for plant health and well-being

01/03/2022

After years of research and experimentation in the field, Sacco System is finally ready to launch a new selection of natural formulations ideated for the bio-stimulation and bio-protection of plants.

This new project is part of a larger agronomic and environmental policy-set (Farm to Fork and Green Deal), which aim to reduce the use of chemically synthesised products.

Sacco System’s team of researchers and technicians have developed a large portfolio of formulations and raw materials to meet the application and technological needs of its customers in the agro-livestock sector.

Sacco System offers its expertise to its partners, providing technological consultancy also for experimental projects aiming to develop new products, perfect or expand the existing product portfolio and innovate the commercial offer with new, cutting-edge, top-notch technologies and ingredients.

These microorganisms promote plant growth, improve the well-being of the crop, with proven benefits in terms of efficacy, eco-sustainability, adaptability and yield increase, through the strengthening of all the defence and development mechanisms of the plants.

The new agronomic revolution of Sacco System springs from a large collection of microorganisms (strain bank), constantly developed and consolidated thanks to numerous partnerships with customers and research centres.

Development of biostimulants and bio-fungicides: the products of the Nutrilia line

Starting from the selection of microorganisms in vitro and the study of their physiological characteristics, their effectiveness is carefully evaluated with a view to maximizing their productivity in the field. An example of this is the array of products falling under the Nutrilia line, tailored to improve plant nutrition through the use of growth-promoting microorganisms.

Nutrilia A (Nutrition boost)

A mixture of mycorrhizae and nitrogen-fixing bacteria, capable of supplying the necessary nitrogen to plants and of concomitantly ensuring a balanced level of nutrients without chemical-physical alterations to the soil.

Target crop: Vegetables, Row crops, Fruit plants, Ornamental plants, Greenhouse plants, Strawberries.
Applications: Fertigation, Sowing, Transplanting, Cover fertilization, Compost integration.

Nutrilia P (Growth boost)

A mixture of mycorrhizae and Pseudomonas produce plant hormones, which have a direct impact on the plant’s growth as well as on the accumulation of fresh biomass.

Target crop: Vegetables, Row crops, Fruit plants, Ornamental plants, Greenhouse plants, Strawberries

Applications: Fertigation, Sowing, Transplanting, Cover fertilization, Compost integration.

Partnerships with Contract Research Organizations

To validate the effectiveness of its products, Sacco System collaborates with industry specialists such as CROs (Contract Research Organizations) and then proceeds with registration and distribution.

Our solution for a more sustainable economy

Sacco System firmly believes in the importance of sustainable actions to minimize its environmental impact, including through the study and production of natural microorganisms intended for use in agriculture and for the well-being of plants in lieu of chemical alternatives.

Sacco System’s AgroVet business unit offers not only microorganisms conceived to maximise the well-being and health of plants but also for the application to animal care and for the subsequent maximisation of the animals’ well-being through the creation of products capable of exploiting the natural mechanisms and beneficial interactions present in nature.
