Role Description
For Caglificio Clerici, reporting to the Production Manager, we are looking for the Rennet Production Departments Team Leader, who will be responsible for managing the people and processes of Rennet Production and Packaging, in compliance with the assigned resources and the agreed scheduling timeframes.
The main activities will be:
- Conducting the production department in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Execution of the production schedule, defined together with the production manager and the planning manager
- Maintenance of qualitative (microbiology) and quantitative (process yields) standards in all production steps
- Analysis of production yield deviations, proposals for process optimisation
- Management of continuous improvement projects
- Collaboration with the Maintenance/Engineering department for preventive maintenance and extraordinary interventions.
The ideal candidate possesses:
- Basic knowledge of food ingredient production processes and HACCP standards
- Previous experience in managing processes and people in industrial plants at food companies
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 package
- Knowledge of written and spoken English
- Preferred degrees: Bachelor’s degree or five-year degree in one of the following fields: biological, agro-industrial, food engineering, chemical and pharmaceutical
