Lactobacilli<\/strong> play a vital role in maintaining homeostasis in vaginal microbiota<\/strong> and there have been promising results not only for the treatment of dysbiosis<\/strong>, but also its onset<\/strong> in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A recent clinical trial has shown that, in as few as 10 days, consumption of the probiotic <\/strong>L. rhamnosus<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong> CA15<\/strong> by mouth is able to reduce the severity and lower the extent of vaginal dysbiosis<\/strong> caused by candida overgrowth and bacterial infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even after supplementation of probiotics has finished, beneficial effects continue for up to 30 days<\/strong>, maintaining vaginal eubiosis<\/strong> and averting the danger of relapse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
